For
over 28 years we've made the best custom R/C packs you can buy. We're a little more
expensive but then again, what is your aircraft worth?
Most of SR's business is in the
military/aerospace industry. Our customers include NASA, Lockheed, Boeing, the Army, Navy,
Marines and Air Force, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, The Hubble Space Telescope, the
Space Shuttle Program, the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins University, AeroVironment, and the
Harris Corp. to name just a few.
The important thing is that the packs we'll
make for you are identical to those we make for NASA. Same cells, same construction, same
testing, same people, same everything.
OK, it's time for
specifics. What does SR do in making a pack that no one else in the R/C field does?
All SR cells are screened and matched Aerospace Grade cells.
These are not your usual consumer type inexpensive cells. They are exactly the same cells
we use for our military/aerospace applications.
Only SR guarantees its cells and packs not to ever form a
memory and warranties each pack for one year.
Only SR puts every pack through five days of electronic
testing to make sure every pack is perfect. These tests include a test of capacity, charge
retention, and a vibration test for mechanical integrity.
All welded internal and external construction. Would you
believe that some companies sell cells where the internal connections are nothing more
than a press fit? We don't even have soldered connections, except for the connector leads
themselves.
Even the straps we weld from one cell to another are an SR
exclusive. Our oversized straps are strain relieved so that no vibration or stress is
transmitted to the welds at the end of each cell. No one else has this feature! Click on

All SR packs can be fast charged. Of course no cell will
stand up to extreme overcharging but all SR cells have the lowest possible internal
impedance so that fast charging isn't a problem.
Custom packs. Now, that's what we're all about. While other
companies force you to buy what they make, we sell you what you want. A 5 cell pack rather
than a 4 cell pack? No problem! 36" leads on the pack? No problem! A special shape
pack? No problem! A JR and Futaba connector on the same pack? No problem!

Listed below are the various Series of receiver packs which
are available. Select a particular Series or scroll down the list. In addition, if you're
interested in a particular area of the Hobby, such as Giant Scale, select that
area from the listing above and to the left. You'll find special information and
recommendations which will help you select the pack that's just right for you. If you'd
like a printed copy, just hit your browser's "Print" command.
Remember, never charge a 1200 Series or larger pack with the
50ma charger that came with your radio. If you do, you will eventually crash! You must use
higher rate chargers when you use bigger packs! We have a special series of 4 or 5 cell
inexpensive chargers designed to match our packs. Don't take chances by using the wrong
charger when the right charger is so inexpensive.
Special shapes or wiring
requirements are never a problem. We'll be glad to add any "custom" features you
might like.

"H"
Series cells are NiMH. Series without an "H" are NiCd.
The SR 190 Series cell is perfect for 1/2A
gas, small electric, and hand toss soaring applications. It has also been very popular for

The SR 1200 Series receiver pack is our
smallest and lightest pack meant for Giant Scale aircraft. This is a very rugged pack with

The SR 1300 Series receiver pack has become
the favorite of Pattern Fliers. It's perfect for .40 to .60 size

The SR 1500 Series receiver pack
(1500mah) is
designed for competition applications where weight is of the utmost importance.
If you want to save almost 2 ounces, compared to the typical SubC size pack,

The SR 2200 Series receiver pack
(2200mah) is the same size as the 1800 Series pack but it gives you more flying time. If you have
a lot of servos or servos that draw a lot of current, this is the pack to choose. Like the
1800 series pack, this is a very heavy duty receiver pack that should be used in the most

The SR3500 Series receiver pack (3500mah) is
for really large and heavy aircraft applications. You will get tired of flying well before

What can we say? The SR 5000 Series receiver
pack is our highest capacity pack in regular production. We realize that not many fliers
need this kind of capacity (5000mah) but if you do, here's the pack you're been looking
