SR
Electric Flight Symposium
For many years we conducted an Electric Flight Symposium at the KRC Electric Fly In.
Unfortunately, only two years were caught on tape. We think you'll find the information
interesting, informative and still timely.
1996 Volume 2,
$19.95
Volume 2 includes four speakers. First, there's Bob Kopski, Model Aviation
Magazine's electric columnist discussing the conversion of vintage, 50's era, R/C designs
to electric power. Next, Bill Griggs gives an overview of Speed 400 Pylon racing. Next,
Clyde Geist discusses his award winning indoor, ultra low speed, electric design he used
to win the Model Airplane News Slow Flight Contest. And finally, Tom Hunt covers various
methods of preventing stalls.
1997 Volume 1,
$19.95
By popular demand, SR's Larry Sribnick is back for this entire tape discussing
the care and feeding of receiver, transmitter, and electric flight battery packs. Every
R/C modeler will get a lot out of this tape.
1997 Volume 2,
$19.95
Volume 2 has two speakers. First, Bob Hunt, World Aerobatic U-Control Champion
discusses his "Lost Foam" process for building strong, light weight, wings and
his techniques for making "molded" balsa parts. Next, Astro Flight's own Bob
Boucher discusses the history of Astro Flight and electric flight in general.
